JWT Crystal's TCXO (Temperature Compensated Crystal Oscillators) are active frequency-control components with temperature compensation for precision timing. The current range includes WO1612, WN2016, WM2520, and WF3225 in package sizes from 1.6 x 1.2 mm to 3.2 x 2.5 mm. WO1612 covers 10.000-96.000 MHz, while the other listed models cover 10.000-54.000 MHz. The product table specifies 1.68-3.63 V supply options, ±0.5 ppm or ±1.0 ppm frequency stability, and clipped sine wave, CMOS, or LVCMOS outputs. Select by frequency, package size, output type, operating temperature, and required stability. Compared with the standard SMD crystal oscillators listed on this site, which specify ±10 ppm or ±20 ppm tolerance, the TCXO range adds temperature compensation and specifies ±0.5 ppm or ±1.0 ppm stability. An OCXO uses a temperature-controlled oven and the listed OCXO models specify ppb-level stability. Choose a standard crystal oscillator for a general active clock, a TCXO for compact temperature-compensated timing, or an OCXO when the documented ppb-level stability and larger package are required.
